LOCAL AREA ATTRACTIONS

The Phoenix area is a wonderful place to visit and to live. There are a plethora of places to see, things to do, events to attend, and interests to pursue that make this an exciting area to experience. Our motto at Anasazi Vacation Rentals by Owner is “the destination is the experience.”

This page on our website is the launching point for finding those special experiences in our local area based on your interests, the season of year, and how far you want to travel as you Compassexplore. We are in the process of providing a compass that will help you discover new serendipity surprises if you have a special interest (like golf, autos, music, theater, etc.), a passion for a particular season (like spring training, festival celebrations, etc.), or finding treasured moments a short distance from Anasazi (like visiting all the Frank Lloyd Wright buildings or touring the Musical Instrument Museum).

We will be providing a curated list of these locations and how to get to them. While some of the places we suggest may be in local visitor guides (like the Desert Botanical Garden), many of them will be hidden gems that you are not likely to find on your own (like a live youth performing arts theater or free car shows where locals show off their vintage classics and modern imports to other gearheads). It will take time to put these lists together so this section of the website will evolve slowly and always be a “work in progress” but as we have suggestions to share, this page will take you to all the good stuff that you will want to know about and consider as you discover the richness of our area at your own pace.

For an example of how these lists of local attractions will look, check out the list of year round local attractions which is still under development.  Plus see the list of museums, golf courseshiking trails and unusual performing arts venues in our area.
